"Twilight Series Books" by Stephenie Meyer

OK sooo....my pushy 15 year old niece SHAYLEE has bugged me for months to read 'Twilight'. I kept telling her someday I will. She is seriously addicted to Edward! She told me she had to start reading Harry Potter so that she could think & dream about something else, I told her she is NUTS! Well I finally gave in and bought it and began reading it the week before "Breaking Dawn" was released. I started getting into it and as it was coming to the point where I find out that Edward was 'Vampire', I was about ready to fall off the couch. (I had no idea what the book was about, I just knew if I didn't read it then my niece would keep pestering me for months and maybe even years!) Anyways, I AM SO NOT INTO VAMPIRES/WEREWOLVES/ETC!! So I finished it in 3 days, then I borrowed my friend Christine's "New Moon & Eclipse". I finished Eclipse Monday morning 8/4/08, now I am half way finished with Breaking Dawn. Dave wants to know when I will be available to talk to him again? LOL

Well last Friday night I went to St George to Barnes & Noble with my friends Christine Slack and Celeste Hughes to purchase the new book that was being released at 12:01am 8/2/08. There was a huge party there and we had a fun time and saw quite a few other people from Mesquite there as well. There was a Scavenger Hunt that everyone was involved in the store. You had to go thru the entire store and look for questions that were taped to the bookshelves with at red ribbon attached. So each of us had one of the 3 books to help us along with the answers. It was fun, we kept losing each other in the store. There must have been hundreds of people there. When they kicked everyone out at 11:30pm Utah time so that could prepare for the rush of book sales and they gave you wristbands with numbers on them. Well I decided to call Smith's in Mesquite and see if there were any lines forming and if they were for sure putting the book out at midnight. The person who answered the phone must have thought I was nuts! So we drive back to Mesquite and get there 10 minutes before midnight and there were about 13 or so other people there. So now we are all happy to have BREAKING DAWN!!!

OH MY!... Look who else was there buying "Breaking Dawn" Deon & Tessa Felshaw & Bro. Bill Lee. He tried to tell us he was buying it for his granddaughter, we know HE really wanted to read it too!!
